A breakfast at CabSlam (short for California Breakfast Slam) is the perfect extension of a long party night. Here you will meet bleary-eyed party-animals, tourists from all over the world and stylish hipster Berliners from the environment in Neukölln. Idyllically located in Reuterkiez right by the Ship Canal, the cafe looks rather inconspicuous from the outside.

Inside it is very busy. The benches and tables remind of typical American diners and are past their best. The ceilings are decorated with yellowish carpets, otherwise decoration is a mixed bag. Center of the bustle is a large bar opposite the entrance. Friendly international waiters scurry through the rooms, orders are given in English mainly. Listening to loud electro-pop, guests enjoy a hearty American breakfast at CabSlam.

French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Huevos Rancheros and of course pancakes are served. In addition CabSlam serves a very good flat white, cappuccino or latte and freshly squeezed juices to wake up the spirits after long party nights again. There are also cereals and salad, but that’s not why ypu would actually go to CabSlam. The trendy audience knows what they came here for. All ingredients are fresh and the portions very generous. The mostly warm breakfast is served all day long. Later in the day also burgers, omelets and cocktails are offered at CabSlam. Many dishes on the menu are also available without animal products.
