The owners of Markthalle Neun are the pioneers of the street food movement in Berlin. They started in spring 2013 with the event Street Food Thursday. Ever since they’ve been offering every Thursday between 5:00 – 10:00 pm culinary discoveries from all over the world: anything from British pies, to tapioka dumplings from Thailand to Nigerian FuFu.

Other street food events followed: the regulary run Naschmarkt focuses with its variety on hand-made sweets like macarons, vegan muffins or spreads of milk and honey like dulce de leche.
Every third Sunday of the month, “gluttony” is the motto of the Breakfast Market. Be it Eggs Benedict, Vietnamese Porridge or a wheatgrass smoothie – you will never run short of new taste experiences.

Add to the regular programme some irregular events like the Cheese Berlin for example to round off the picture. But even without any special programme or event, the street food stalls in Markthalle Neun are worth a visit anytime.
