The beer garden of Café am Neuen See is a bit hidden away under the high trees of Tiergarten, directly by the water. After an evening stroll through Tiergarten or a visit at the Zoo of Berlin you can unwind on their large wooden terrace.
Tourists sit alongside with locals on long benches, while enjoying a nice beer and a pretzel, a crispy pizza or even a leisurely breakfast. You’ll find somebody to talk to there in no time. The place is always full to the brim and most of the time you will have to share a bench with somebody you (just) have not met yet.
